<p>Now that you have made a firm decision to start your workout plan you have a decision on your hand. Should you invest in a home gym or purchase a gym membership. Now ideally the best approach, of course, would be to do both and that would make your decision a whole lot easier.   </p>
<p>However, not everyone has the luxury of being able to afford both. So starting out which one is better? Well there are pros and cons to each.   </p>
<p>You just have to decide what is most important to you based upon the advantages and disadvantages of each. Here we are going to discuss the advantages of working out at a home gym.   </p>
<p>The advantages of workout at a home gym can be split into two major categories: long term costs and convenience.   <br /> <br />
<h3>Cheaper Long Term Costs </h3>
<p> One of the pros of building your own home gym is that over the long term it is cheaper to purchase your own home gym. Once you have purchased some quality equipment you can use the same equipment for years down the road with no other costs, with the exception of purchasing more weights when you begin tossing weights around like styrofoam with your newly found muscle.   </p>
<p>In fact you can start small with a gym that includes incline/decline bench, barbell, dumbbells, leg extension capabilities, and squat capabilities with some weights. Then as you get more advanced you may decide to add more parts to your gym little by little, which may include a power rack, high/low pulley, etc.   <br /> <br />
<h3>Convenience </h3>
<p> Probably the greatest benefit of owning your own home gym is the convenience. You don&#8217;t have that mind barrier of getting dressed, going out to the car and driving to the gym. It can be especially convenient during the winter or when it is raining. Sometimes all you need is an excuse to keep from going to the gym.   </p>
<p>However, a home gym quickly dismisses all of those excuses. Whether it is raining, snowing, traffic jams, Godzilla terrorizing the city or whatever the case with a short trip to the garage or your exercise room you can be ready to roll in no time.   <br /> <br />
<h3>Time </h3>
<p> Which bring us to another convenience advantage: time. When you do not have a lot of time to spare a home gym can be your best friend. This is because you do not have to spend time driving to and from the gym.   </p>
<p>You also do not have to interrupt your workout flow waiting for equipment that others may be using. We all know how annoying it can be when you are pumped to do your chest workout for the day and every bench in the place is taken with others in line waiting.   </p>
<p>The convenience of a home gym can help to make you more consistent with your workouts. And we know that consistency brings results.   </p>
<p>So these are some of the advantages of working out at a home gym. It has a cheaper long term cost than a gym membership, is more convenient and can save you a lot of time.   </p>

<p>It may not be your fault if you are overweight or obese. With the development of science, we have more knowledge today to live longer and healthier lives and many people are making an effort to eat and live in a healthier manner. People are starting to realize that excessive eating and a lifestyle that consists of mostly sitting around in front of some sort of electronic screen is the fast track to becoming overweight or obese.   </p>
<p>Many people, though, may not realize that high levels of bodily obesity and toxins are closely linked, especially in children whose underdeveloped digestive systems make them prime targets for obesity. Environmental toxins, that are floating around in the air you breathe and the water you drink, may be linked to the obesity we are all trying to stave off. Incidentally, did you know that some experts say that even hair loss is related to toxicity?   </p>
<p>Did you know that your efforts to be clean and sanitary may be the culprits when it comes to obesity and toxins? Environmental toxins can be found in almost every chemical based household cleaner, sanitizer and air freshener. We have been tricked into thinking that our bodies can’t handle germs and bacteria on their own, so we rush out to buy chemicals so that we can live in completely sterile environments. The truth is that a complete absence of any germs or bacteria weakens our immune systems, and then obesity and toxins are free to join forces against us.   </p>
<p>Environmental (exogenous) toxins are not only found in household cleaners, however. Processed foods are another huge key to the link between obesity and toxins. Fast food, which contains high amounts of trans-fatty acids, chemical additives and preservatives designed to keep food &quot;fresh&quot;, pesticide and insecticide residues on produce, and the chlorinated water that flows out of our home faucets all contain substances that are toxic to the body. When we ingest these things on a regular basis, we overload our liver, kidneys, and lungs with toxins. If our system is overloaded with toxins, or if we are aged or stressed, our body cannot complete its natural detoxification process. Then we become susceptible to disease and fat gain.   </p>
<p>The link between obesity and toxins can be better observed when we understand the way our body stores toxins in our fat. For example, if you eat meat at fast food restaurants, or if you eat low price meat from the supermarket, you are ingesting all of the hormones and pesticides that were fed to the animal. These toxins are then stored in your fat cells where they tell your body to slow its metabolic processes, making you fatter.   </p>

<p>Somewhere along the way we all came to accept the fact that if we got pregnant, gained a little weight, or even lost weight, we’d be forever branded with stretch marks. Our moms had to deal with them. Our grandmothers did, too. (If your grandmother was the open and honest type, she may have even shared that with you at some point.) What all of us have in common is that we often feel powerless to do anything about them. And since stretch marks aren’t painful and don’t pose a medical threat, they’re not a big deal and we should just try to forget about them…right?   </p>
<p>If stretch marks keep you from wearing a bathing suit or from slipping on your favorite shorts – if they just make you hesitant to look in a full-length mirror – they are a big deal. And that doesn’t just go for women – men suffer from stretch marks too. In fact, stretch marks affect about 40% of young men (probably not something your dad or grandfather shared with you, no matter how open or honest they were). 70% of adolescent girls and nearly 90% of pregnant women will get stretch marks.   </p>
<p>So what exactly are these seemingly inescapable marks that afflict so many of us? Stretch marks first appear as streaks of thinned, glossy skin that are usually red or purple. Over time they become depressed and scar, leaving once-smooth skin rippled with streaks of white lines.   </p>
<p>Usually we associate stretch marks with pregnancy, when women have both stretching skin and changing hormones working against them. But they can appear whenever your skin gets stretched, like when you gain weight or go through a growth spurt. Young athletes can stretch their skin by doing sports like weightlifting that rapidly alter their bodies. No matter what the cause, rapidly expanding skin is eventually stretched to its limit, and that’s when little tears appear in the supporting layers of skin known as the dermis. And those little tears become stretch marks.   </p>
<p>Stretch marks can have a big impact on how we feel about our bodies. And given the choice, a lot us would do something about them. So what’s standing in our way? Until recently, “doing something” about stretch marks meant two things: over-the-counter treatments or surgery. The good thing about over-the-counter treatments to improve the appearance of stretch marks? There are plenty to choose from. What’s the downside? None have been medically proven to actually work. Surgical options, like tummy tucks, do work. But they’re invasive and require a lot of recovery time – which leaves a lot of people wishing for a better way.   </p>
<p>Well, you can stop wishing, because a better solution is finally here. The Fraxel laser is the most effective stretch mark treatment you’ll find today. Fraxel sends “micro-treatments” beneath the surface of your skin to stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis – literally resurfacing your skin. They look at the handles around their waists or their paunches, both of which are the result of many years of no exercise and bad eating habits.
